Advanced Alerts, set against all Numbers, can be viewed, added, edited, and deleted under the Alerts section. In this section a user can set up Advanced Alerts based on various usage criteria.

This type of Alert is matched on user defined criteria. Users can create as many Alert configurations as they would like.
Note: Only users with a Restriction Type of Unrestricted and Enable Customer Alerts selected, within their Customer Portal Login profile, will have access to the Alerts Menu.
The main portion of the page will display as list of all existing Advanced Alert Names, including the associated Notification Email Subject, and Recipient Email Address.
It is possible to sort the columns by clicking on the column heading.
If there are no existing Advanced Alerts, then the text No Advanced Alerts have been created. Click ‘New Advanced Alert’ to create one will be displayed below the column headings.
Advanced Alerts - Fields
Field | Details |
Alert Name* | This is the name of the Alert. This can be used to clarify its purpose. |
Notification Email Subject* | This is the Title of the Alert Email Notification. This can be used to clarify its purpose. |
Recipient Email Address* | This is the Email Address which should receive the Alert Email Notifications. |
New Advanced Alert
Selecting the New Advanced Alert button will present the user with the New Advanced Alert modal.

This allows the user to create an Advanced Alert Name including the associated Email Notification Subject, and Recipient Email Address.
Click the Save New Alert button to create the Advanced Alert Name.
View / Edit Advanced Alert Details
Existing Alerts can be updated by selecting the Edit Alert icon, displayed alongside the applicable entry.

This will present the user with the Advanced Alert Details page.

Select the Add Limit button to create a new limit within the Advanced Alert or simply click Edit icon within the corresponding area to add or edit information within that section.

Limits can also be removed by clicking the Remove Limit icon.
Advanced Alerts Limits
Various Advanced Alert Limits can be specified when creating or editing an Advanced Alert.
These fields are as defined within the tables below.
Note: If an invalid value is entered on saving, an error message will be displayed: Value entered is invalid.
Note: It is not possible to enter both max daily bill and max outbound calls. An error message will be displayed: You cannot enter a value in both max daily bill and max outbound calls.

Called Number |
Value should be entered as a numeric value. Matches are made with called numbers that start with the number entered. For example, 0800 would match with any called number starting with 0800. |
Called Number in List | Select an applicable option from the searchable dropdown menu of Number Lists. |
Called Number not in List | Select an applicable option from the searchable dropdown menu of Number Lists. |
Number Making Call | Select an applicable option from the searchable dropdown menu of Billing IDs. |
Made From Extension | Value should be entered as a numeric value. |
Calls Made on Date | Select a valid Date using the Calendar icon. |
Calls Made on (Day) |
Select an applicable option from the dropdown list. Saturday, Sunday, Weekend, Bank Holidays, Bank Holidays or Weekends, Weekdays. |
Calls Not Made Between (HH:MM) |
Select a valid start Time using the Clock icon. The calls made between the selected HH:MM will be excluded from the Advanced Alert. |
And (HH:MM) |
Select a valid Time using the Clock icon. The calls made between the selected HH:MM will be excluded from the Advanced Alert. |
Calls Longer Than (Mins) | Mins values should be entered as a numeric value without a decimal point. |
Costing More Than (£) | £ values, should be entered with either 0 or 2 decimal places. |
Max Daily Bill (£) | £ values, should be entered with either 0 or 2 decimal places. |

Remove Advanced Alert
Existing Advanced Alerts can be removed by selecting the Remove Limit icon, displayed alongside the applicable entry.

Select Yes to delete the selected entry.
